ISS Lifestyle’s exciting new 18-hole Adventure Golf Course “Wildforest Falls” is set to open on Tuesday, 13th February, with the official ribbon cutting carried out by Jacky Pendleton, Chairman of Arun District Council and Phil Jones, Managing Director of ISS.
The launch will commence at 11 am and children under 12 attending the opening and dressed as an animal will receive a free game of golf between 11.00 am and 1.00 pm. There will also be a chance to meet, hold and have your photograph taken with some of the most amazing owls from Owls About Town, as well as have your face transformed into a wild animal by our talented face painters.
Wildforest Falls takes its inspiration from the beautiful and historic Hotham Park in which it sits and the surrounding area.
The course is designed to be both thrilling and educational with a number of life-size props including bears, wolves, stags and wild boars all complete with information boards so both young and old can learn some fun and enlightening facts about each species as they play.
A beaver dam complete with waterfall and fallen log putt-through; tree stump vortex and ‘Hotham Clock Tower’ putt-through are just a few of the obstacles players will have to negotiate at this Wildforest-themed attraction.
ISS, who has been working in partnership with Arun District Council for over two decades, is investing heavily in key Arun parks and outdoor recreation facilities, supporting the ongoing regeneration of Arun’s seaside towns and creating key visitor destinations for years to come. Last year saw ISS refurbish Buccaneer Bay Adventure Golf in Norfolk Gardens and re-open the café in West Park. Continued substantial investment across the District is also planned for later in the year.
Phil Jones, Managing Director, ISS said:
“ISS has made the commitment to work together with Arun identifying further opportunities for investment, and Wildforest Falls is another example of just that. Wildforest Falls is something new and exciting which the whole family can get involved in, it is a great development for the local community and visitors to the town and a real asset to Hotham Park. This is a great way to enjoy the outdoors and partake in some friendly competition with family and friends.”
Councillor Paul Wotherspoon, Arun District Council’s Cabinet Member for Neighbourhood Services, said:
“This new adventure golf course is great news for Bognor Regis, especially in the unique setting of Hotham Park.
“It will add to the host of activities the park already has to offer and we’re confident it will be a real hit with families and get their competitive spirits going!”
