Wildforest Falls, Hotham Park’s brand new adventure golf course, is on track for a late November opening. Taking its inspiration from Hotham Park’s history and the surrounding area, this new attraction for all of the family will soon be welcoming its first visitors.
A beaver dam complete with waterfall, water jump pool and fallen log putt-through; tree stump vortex and ‘Hotham House’ tower putt-through are just a few of the obstacles players will have to negotiate at this Wildforest-themed adventure golf course.
As well as the usual patches of rough and bunkers trying to catch players out, the course will feature a number of life-size statues including grizzly bears, wolves, stags and wild boars.
The exciting 18-hole development is being undertaken by Arun District Council’s greenspace contractor ISS. The new development underpins ISS’ commitment to deliver excellent outdoor recreational facilities throughout the Arun District.
To accommodate the extra footfall, ISS will be increasing the size of the main car park. Additionally much needed toilet facilities will be installed, together with a newly created kiosk selling a selection of merchandise.
The build is being delivered by Hush Minoan Partnership who has extensive experience in providing some of the best golf adventure sites in the UK.
ISS, who has been working in partnership with Arun District Council for more than two decades, has invested heavily in the facilities within the District, more recently opening a pop-up café in West Park, Bognor and undertaking a major refurbishment of Buccaneer Bay Adventure Golf course at Norfolk Gardens, Littlehampton.
